Lovely song Wazif. Suited so well with your vocals and without copying Mukesh Ji you still maintained the feel and the message. Despite Sahir Ludhiyanvi saying “Kal aur aayeinge mujhse behtar……” magar abhi tuk koi na Mukesh Ji ki tarha ganay wala aaya na he koi uss tarha ke Music Directors aur Shayer log. Shayad Sahir Ludhiyanvi ko andaza thaa ke future main kiya expected hai….iss liye unhon ne usska bilkul opposite likh diya….Lol. Khair ye meri soch thi magar geet badhiya sunaya maza aagaya.

I always loved Sahir Ludhiyanivi’s poetry…. truthful and meaningful…. those poets didn’t know poetry will become scarce in coming days…. however this song really depicts the reality of life for everyone. I’m glad you liked it…. thanks so much for wonderful comments Naqvi saheb.

Bhai…. baqi baten hoti rehti hain…. aisi soorat-e-haal main music kaun sunta hai…. take your time to relax and get back to routine gradually. I was thinking about you yesterday and really thought that you would be in India on trip. But somehow I’m sure it might not be as good as it could be without the loss. Anyhow like you said on Mehdi Hasan’s health issue that no matter how much you pray, one has to make his way there. So nothing can be done other than just praying out. Still I appreciate your time taken on my latest upload.

I still can remember when I heard this song for the first time watching Kabhi Kabhi as a kid. Can you imagine that? Had no clue as to the complexity of the story… just wanted to watch it because of Amitabh!! :)

Anyway… you have done fabulously well on this song. Loved it! Just felt that you had some distant Echo with quite a bit of delay in the mix which was a bit unsettling at times… see if you can remove it from the mix if you still have it. I think that will make it sound a lot cleaner.
