MERI KAHANI BHOOLNE WALE Lyrics & Chords

RAAG: TILANG

Rafi Saheb sang this powerful song in the film ‘Deedar’ (1951) in which the main actors were Ashok Kumar, Nimmi, Nargis and Dilip Kumar. The lyrics were by Shakeel Badayuni and the music was by Naushad Ali. The famous song by Lataji ‘Oh, bachpan ke din bhulanadena’ was from this old movie. (There was another film called ‘Deedar’ made in 1992.)

Beautiful pick sir, and excellent effort too. Deedar has some amazing songs, but they never became popular for whatever reasons. Even Rafisaab sang ‘Bachpan Ke Din’, but it never made it to the LPs/cassettes/CDs. Thankfully it is there in the movie (DVD).
