The movie HUM DONO (1961) with Dev Anand playing a double role was a raging favourite of movie goers in the 1960s. This song with Dev Anand on the screen puffing away a cigarette with total insouciance and indifference to whatever, was a big hit as rendered by Rafi Sahib with his usual verve and panache. Jaidev’s music for this movie was heavenly and divine, so to say.Lyrics were by Sahir Ludhianvi.
