Madhyama in Hindustani music (vocal). Certificate in Music Direction and Composition, Bombay University. Diploma in Cartooning from USA. Cartoons published over 40 years in Shankar’s Weekly, Femina, The Daily, Indian Express, Sunday Times etc. Published five books of cartoons and two books of poems. Held seven one-man painting exhibitions in Mumbai. Was Chairman, Artists’ Centre, Kala Ghoda. Published Art-reviews in newspapers and magazines.
Diploma in French. Certificate from Sorbonne. Certificate in German, Italian and Spanish.
Ph.D. in Commerce from Bombay University. Diplome from I.I.A.P., Paris. Master’s in Physics.
Worked in the I.A.S. and later as Director General, World Trade Centre, Mumbai. Extensively published articles on Trade and Economics. Published a book titled “WTO and India: My insights”. Interested in social issues, in fighting injustice and corruption.
Am nephew of late Veena Vidwan Mr.S.Balachander and his talented brother late Mr.S.Rajam.
