This is great wonder.Your father is known to me,very well.Kindlly ask him if he remembers a Sukumaran friend of T.K.Subrahmaniam one of his contemporary composer and friend.In fact I have sung one of his song in Yuvavani,AIR way back in 1976 or ’77.

You have got plenty of good comments here. So, I apologize for voicing my genuine opinion which will be a bit contradictory to what has been mentioned above.

First of all my pranamam to your father for he has composed a really beautiful piece of song that surely needs to be echoed in the world. The subtle variations and the mood created are simply superb.

The reason I had to raise my eyebrows in astonishment was because in the anupallavi and charanam, the starting two lines where the composition was going to your base voice, I could find that you were struggling. Since you had sung this song plenty of times and that too at a competition level also, my expectation was much more higher. I felt you could deliver this song with a lot more potential and deduced that maybe the day you recorded this you might not have been at your best.

But its glad to have a son introduce his fathers musical collections to this wonderful audience. My best wishes and thanks for sharing.
