This is evergreen “Gemini—Savitri” classic….also gave me a good opportunity to try a non-SPB song. This is a very soft, smooth and simple number with relatively very few frills, and yet uniquely sung by PBS.
One of the things that I really like about this song is the simplicity of the poetic lyrics and the lovely emotion involved in comparing semething tangible (the beauty of a girl) to all the lovely intangible things/feelings of nature.

Simply soothing voice aptly required for this song. You have done very well with the expressions but could feel little more “nadukkam” in the voice at places. Nevertheless, evergreen melody liked it in your voice.

Beautiful attempt, Shak! But very unusual to hear a lot of flat notes here and there (starting pallavi). You could also have tried the sangathis at “annai” and “maangani”.

Adithi — agree with u on the flat notes in the begining….realized it only after uploading it. Important lesson learnt….dont sing and mix a song on the same day. Regarding the sangathis at “maangani”, i didnt do them coz i wanted to attempt this song being a little different from the original.
