ur style of singing is awesome…and it would have been fully yours…espeacially when you touch the base shrutis voice automatically goes like KJY…but in high notes…u r totally there…liked the special sanghatis added nicely…rocking performance vishak…& opt selection on this occasion…as u said it is one of the challenges for KJY with IR…and the composition of this song it self was a challenge to IR…

People dont dare to touch this song in concerts…its really a tough song…becasue shruti can slip out at any moment since there is no avaroganam to balance it…highly appreciate your dareness…

I never knew that u were capable of attempting a hard core classical like this…Though we thought the initial alapana could have had more weight.In the sense,a certain sense of power was missing.It was less to be precise…:)

the madhyama kaala saahithyam was well attempted, but a little work on the ending phrases in terms of sruti will enhance the beauty of the song and the voice…:)

But to top it all,[at the risk of sounding boring :P] u have one superb voice ya!! To be able to mix various genres is nothing but talent…and a gift from the almighty.

I am so glad to see you back after few days……Also with such cute number & infact one of the hits of 1985 or 86……I remember the day on which i have gone for watching the movie as a child , at Sreepadmanabha theatre , Trivandrum…….“Paadariye Padippariyen” is stiling haunting me like anything….Those days , i was really feeling fear on the angry “red face” of Sivakumar in the movie….

A divine stay for about 3:37 mins and what a control over this tricky composition da… You are really blessed… You are too good at both the apical and bassy notes… Once again, you have comprehensively proclaimed your prowess at classical music… Only quibbling elements in this presentation are the extra stress given to few syllables and some diffident pronunciation of words… But I do know how toilsome it would have been to have control over all the parameters in bringing them intact… You have succeeded… Thanks for reproducing this classic and I request you to share this k-track with me, if possible…
