Wonderful rendtion Vishak.

I know hindi songs requires special diction. Ek Ladki ko Dekhaa… was pronounced was “Laduki ko thekhoa….” – I know its tough to recreate tha magic – but thought i would just tell. You were great at “Aahista Aahista… Baduthaa nasha…. wow – what a feel”.

Generally, you need to leave it free “freeya vidanum” when you sing hindi songs – on hearing your song i felt there was some inhibition :) – innum konjam freeya irundha nalla irukkum.

I do accept this is happens to be a most difficult melody, and congratulate you on having done a great job!!

p.s: I may not be an expert singer (leave expert, not even a good singer!); but believe that am a reasonably good critic – If you’re hurt by comments which are often raw & unrefined, I’d like to apologize in advance.

At times, I grumble God for having stayed biased in showering his blessings. Padma Shri Kumar Sanu is one such person having domiciled with a reverend tonal quality and the record he has stamped over the years is breath-taking. That includes the record-breaking feat for having sung and recorded 28 songs in a single day. And facsimiling Kumar Sanu’s works is not a joke but Machchi!!!! you have done it very well indeed in your own style… Ist round of applause for that….

As a friend, I would like to point out certain things in this rendition and you wont take it otherwise I believe. Appadi eduththunday aana pichchu pichchu… I enjoyed this rendition very much as I approached and listened to this as a cover and I could feel ur presence right from the start to the end living in every note… There lies your victory… I may sound different, exaggerating things but this is what I imbibe from this rendition… The smile you carried out through this rendition has made me to deem in bringing your smiling face to my eyes. ;-) Are you love-struck?? Think so… And the vibratos and the brihas that you impart to each and every rendition of yours is your style of singing and I dont wish to comment on that… As trying to control or change it may mutate the beauty of your voice and singing… IMO, A voice trained in carnatic music delivering a ghazal… A light grip on those vibratos and brihas would definitely spruce-up the charm… Hope to see you cover many such hits in the future… All the best…

Amazing rendition. This is certainly much much better sung than the original. Loved the vibratos in your voice. Just one thing though….you vocals sounded raw….need to add bit of reverb and delay and that will do wonders. A big thumbs up!

I liked the fact that it wasnt nasal at all (as in original) :)

It’s difficult to reproduce something, and be creative…. Its even more harder to undo certain aspects of a song, and still be creative about it! Well done!

Nicely sung Vishak! I liked ur expressiveness. The diction could be improved. Also, u tend to bring in some Carnatic influence in your sangathis which sounds a little out of place for a song like this.

These are just minor points. Your singing is flawless technically. The stretched notes were so perfect! Also a better mix would do more justice to the end product. Overall enjoyed it.

you have to work on diction.That is obvious.But then u have done some improvisations to the original no? It suited in some places but again,the biraka sangathis dominated in many parts.Work on cutting the classical influence in the songs.Its will be the best ever!Really nive to mlisten to overall.
