Vishak, This is no easy song, Challenge for Sustenance, Breath, Sur and also flow. I also had a tough time singing this. I liked everything on your singing except for the flow. The song has got a flow a smooth flow which gives it a great feel. I felt that flow was little less in your rendition. “mana ke nazil” those portions is my fav… :) But otherwise great effort. Improvisation towards the end was little carnatic style… was good :) Happy to listen to you after some time :)

Vishak- This song is surely one of the finest compositions of ARR. After listening to yours and Unni’s covers, I am really scared as to how I will be able to complete my version given the high standard set by you guys.
One small observation though…. I feel at few places, you have overdone on harkats but on the positive side, you still ensured no off notes.

Good singing vishak …expressions were good. You could improve upon the overall flow and the odd shakiness in the low notes …. hope you were not trying to copy sonu’s shivers in the lower registers….thats one reason I dont like sonu nigam…his voice shivers as if he is standing in Antartica without a jacket….overall very good …liked it.

This is a great album from AR, which has got some of his vintage touches.

Of course, the might look easy upfront but the nuances make it really a tough one to bring out. Most parts were well rendered. A little more depth in the mood would be good and some carnatic influences were there too :). Well done bro.
