Aaro Viral Meeti (Malayalam)

Aaro Viral Meeti (Malayalam) Lyrics & Chords

Song Name: Aaro Viral Meeti
Movie Name: Pranaya Varnangal (Malayalam)
Music Director: Vidyasagar
Singer : K J Yesudas

One of Vidyasagar’s very nice compositions. One of the lovely aspects of this song for me is KJY’s awesome voice which gives it such a soft melancholic flavour.

This bitrate of this song is 320 k bits/second (that is if downloaded i think)

I can unabashedly say that is a pleasure listening to your voice in ANY song!!!Just love the texture of your voice. And such delectable sangathis….difficult not to nod to each one of those!!!

Kudos for choosing a VS number! :)Ony nitpick is that 1:09-1:11 could have been better flowwise.

Cannot comment on diction but given your “rich experiences with Malayalam”, it must be quite good :P.

One of Das attans super songs….singing wise you were really good no doubt about that, please work on the malyalam diction as it will enhance the final outcome for a song like this…and also once you know the meaning of the lyrics, you will be able to add more feel …. LIKED it.

Hi Vishak, simply superb you have a very good voice and the depth too is very good. While you have couple of them who have commented on the diction which I am sure you will be able to improve by listenting to a lot of Malayalam Songs. One thing I noticed is that while singing you have more of A( pronounced as the first alphabet/letter in vernacular language viz the A in Amma) you can make it more round insead of that ‘A’ sound. It is again by practice and singer of your caliber can easily identify it and get over it. Congrats, superb singing .

Nice song and your voice is good but capable of more I feel with further application. Here is what I noted:

- You have pitched it a bit low for your voice. The original song is one note higher but for your voice you could go for two notes higher to bring out a better performance. The reason for this is that when you touch the top ‘Sa’ (eg. “manasil….” 2nd charanam) it is sounding quite low for your voice and does not have impact of touching the next octave. Especially it is a highly critical note to sustain on that top ‘Sa’ and for the culminating impact to be felt by the listener. Pitch adjustments for the track can be done with decent software as you know.

- You have sung this song in a bit of a mono-tone … needs a lot more volume variation down to whispers and caresses!. That is missing and you need to work on that to give a more caring performance. The original has good pointers in this area I feel. I feel your delivery of brigas is good and will sound even better with more finesse on volume.

- Song was also a touch slow paced and therefore highlights the above issues even more. Sometimes speeding up is a very good thing and I often hear slow songs going even more in slow motion here!.

- On a mixing view point go a bit lower on the volume of everything … it seemed too compressed and loud. Just a setting thing to remember.

You have good singing talent that just needs more care in handling if I may say so. Excellent job otherwise.

~With a rhythm is born a song. From a pulsing heart is born music!.

Thanks Uthra, Harry, Vishnu, Priya, Lakshminarsimhan, Deepa, Unni, Sunil and Meera for listening. Am gald u guys liked it.

Biju, Harshan, Krishnan — I am trying hard to work on the diction issues in Malayalam. Its definitely hard since I dont know the language. I think I am slowly but surely improving on this aspect. Hopefully as the days go by, you will see some more difference. I must thank u guys for ur comments. its becoz of them that i am making this sincere effort.

Arvind — thanks for the carefully thought out comment. I will work on the feel aspect and volume variation. I am relatively new to the mixing concept and am still learning as I go. It will be nice to have some reference manual on sound engineering to start off. Would be nice if you (or any others) could suggest some good text. Thanks.

For others who r also new to the concept of mixing, I would suggest that u watch George Kuruvilla’s video in his blog. Its very informative and lovely intro to this concept.
