Nice rendition of one of my favorite songs :) Your handling of Dwijavanti seems a little different from the traditional way. Thought this lacked some subtle but very typical nuances of the ragam and instead, had some phrases that didn’t really represent Dwijavanti (like the 2nd guruguha in the charanam)- may be its just my ignorance speaking….
Nevertheless, a nice, emotive rendition :)

Dwijavanthi is my favorite ragam!
I am reminded of my music teacher who sings this song so well and i keep asking her to sing this number at every possible occasion!
But i failed to learn this song properly :-(
Great rendition Vivek….clean sangathis, good bhavam, pitching….beautiful!
I have heard this song sung by M.S, Bombay Jayasree…. Lalgudi jayaram’s thillana in this ragam is also superb!
I think Sindhuja is right in saying that you have sung in a different manner. Nevertheless……Excellent!
However there is scope for improvement in the way you say….yaaakilaa….rather than Aaaakilandeswari.
Could hear the traces of Balamurali Krishna, Santhana rajagopalan’s touches here and there!
I am just a beginner for ever but i have just mentioned some of my observations.
