Dear Srividya & Murali, good song selection and a fantastic performance. Both of your voices suits this song perfectly (both of you sound very much like teenage villagers in the song). The K-track is average, since the original BGM’s are outstanding (with Nadaswaram etc). Murali you cud have added SPB’s sinungals (Aha…Mhm… and his usual mild smile). But want to compliment you on retaining the expressions & the original feel of the song. Overall I loved it a lot. Thanks. God bless.

I am so glad you posted this song here, Vidya. This was the first of yours that I heard a few months ago and absolutely fell in love your voice (and the konjal thamizh!)….

Personally this is the best duet of Murali’s to date too….The emotions bursting from his renditions are simply a treat to thirsty ears! The “konjam” at 03:29 is different from the original but enjoyable.

good song , nice singing both of you guys……Maalaiyida kaathu…….is out of flow….may be its intensional……the whole song is as it is good but could have sounded beautiful with those enhanced velocity singing…. these spots Maalayida , thalikatta , vetkam , Manjal …….innum konjam azhuthama irunthaal better…. Srividya ,your voice is so pleasing to hear….the expression is within you …….all u have to do is to control it….not to generate it. the start of the song with violin and a sine lead mix is amazing those tricks are one of ilayarajas find in the world of tamil melody.
