Very nice rendition Vidya. Felt you can sing with a more open throat – singing was a bit too controlled. Recording and mixing could be better though compared to Tum Ho Toh :-).

Well done Vidya… I think I’ve told you in the past that you tend to be over expressive. This is a fine example of striking the right balance. Perfect in terms of expressions. As for singing, its very good for the most part. There were a few portions that could have been rendered a little better, but overall a terrific job. Two great performances one after another Vidya :-) 5/5

Really sung well!!! You sounded so cute. Initially,when I had heard Shankar Mahadevan sings this,sadness had filled me. But when I heard you sing this, it was like a small kid “konchal”….

Vidya – You sang this pretty well (as always). I did not find any issues technically. Although I think it would have sounded even better if you had sung this in your base voice (i think you modulated your vocals to suit a child???)

Hi Vidya,

Very nicely felt, sung and touched!. Liked your child-like voice that you have adopted for your version of this soulful song. A highly emotive song which could break a tear or two.

In terms of your singing, I would say that you have very good understanding (an understatement?!) … but the way you attack some notes can be varied and even more effortless, should you care to try a different way!.

In terms of your recording, I am not happy with the clarity and I think your mic / recording / mixing needs a bit more attention … clarity is not what it should be with affordable present day technology.

A very emotive and well sung song Vidya!.
