i agree with Kumar completely. Recording could have been much better, clarity of words was poor……

No doubt you have sung this beautifully and I would be dumb to say it otherwise but felt a couple of places for future improvement. As u know im strict in diction, mukhda me the word is LaaKHH where u sung LaaK, the two HH’s were missing a bit ….One more thing, could you check and let me know if the note of BIRha was a 1/2 note lower in ur rendition from the original……

Well these are some things which i looked froma critical assesment point of view, apart from them u were very very good……These are minor points i suggested which seems to be negligible while assesing the overall rendition….

keep it up Vidya……u r the best….

badhiya gana hai and tumne badhiya gaya bhee……ran out of breath at places….however I loved the harqats.:)… i dont think there were any diction issues…your hindi was perfect

A good job. Started off a lil unsure of urself but sang with more confidence as the song went by. Also you tried to copy the original singing a lil too much. Since the original had a lot of extempore bits, it made it that much more difficult. Just do it in ur own style and u’ll be more than fine…. I liked your voice. Very sweet voice. Keep posting more….

Let me tell you one thing Vidya, This is one of the best songs and renditions I have heard in this entire website. That was an awesome rendition.

Yes voice recording could have been better, but even so, your sweet voice was priceless in this song and I say it with my full heart.

I do not agree with anyone above, who has found any fault with this; in fact I am not happy with them!!. You can discard those comments as being frivolous. Trust me, you are a very good singer with very fine nuances coming through sweetly and a good voice too. I think you yourself do not realise the extent of your talent. Please perfect your recording technique for the vocals and it will sound even more awesome.

I am now your fan and will be following your songs! By the way, I think your voice is suited to ghazals, so please try more of them … takes a very special talent to sing ghazals and I think you have that!.
