Very good attempt, Srividhya! If I may just add my 2cs here, you could try softening your voice in some places to bring out the feel better. With your powerful voice, it is not always required to sing fullthroated- even softening at places is bound to project the richness of the voice.

Very nicely sung, Srividhya. Very good harkats and expressions- a very tough composition based on good old Yaman. Some mini alaaps could be softer like before Chingari etc. but Kahin ye woh to nahin, Dil Sochta hai, Hai usiki ye ada etc. were soo beautifully done.
Am going to a Madan Mohan oldies concert sometime – will cherish this one!

Srividhya ji- Outstanding singing….one of the best covers I have ever heard of this song….diction is perfect for a non-Hindi speaking person and modulations are breathtaking ( what I liked is that you have added some of ur own modulations which are not there in the original)…however mixing was not very apt….there is a lot of noise and your vocals alternated to left and righr channels in the beginning of song ….I would recommend a redo of it if possible.Anyways singing -wise a miltary band salute to you for this one….regards
