Probably, the nth cover of the ever-popular IR classic, but my liking for this song, especially the stop and go flow made me want to attempt this song. I read its considered a benchmark for female singers, so please excuse me for any details I have missed, or mistakes made.
But Thanks to Uthra, for instilling some confidence in me, and giving me tips and diction pointers. I have sung it in my own style, and I am geared for Hindustani-style music, so do bear with the unbearableness, but I too felt like uploading an Illaiyaraja song for his birthday. :-)
