I humbly present yet another brilliant masterpiece from Salil-da‘s treasure-trove. This beautiful tune, was first composed and recorded in Bengali. The Bengali song “Na Mono Lage Na” was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and later incorporated in Anand with Hindi lyrics.
The same tune is in a Tamizh song ‘Naan ennum pozhuthu…’ in Balu mahendra’s ‘Azhiyatha Kolangal’ sung superbly by SPB (Thanks Rajeevji)
Love this song…Here is a dual – Hindi/Bengali combined version for Muziboo. Thanks Kumar Srinivasan for reviewing mix/singing. :-) Bangla friends do pardon my diction mistakes… Hope you folks enjoy this one. Do drop in your valuable feedback.

I am familiar with all the three versions. SPB’s version is the most endearing due to the amazing emotive rendition. He just eases through the song. Lata’s both versions are like listening to a human violin.
Good attempt in my opinion sudha. Some sustained notes seem to have some uncertain vibrato to them.

An Absolute gallant rendition!!! Novel thought of twining both the versions and this does need a resolute mind…. You must be happy with the derivation after rendering and so do the listeners, after listening to this… To be honest, I had to follow the flow of this song as I am unschooled to understand the meaning of the lyrics… And btw can u conduct online classes to tutor me hindi??? ;-) Am just flabbergasted with this rendition packed with fine modulations and cleverly pulsated sustains… Kalakkal… Your magnum opus work, I would say….
