Ladki Kyon - Fun duet with Rahul (cover from Hum Tum)
Ladki Kyon - Fun duet with ... Lyrics & Chords
Hi Friends,
Happy Diwali! Have a fantastic season of Lights. Deepavali ki hardik shubhkamnaayein!
Presenting an looong pending upload that is sure to get you up and running and thinking, Oh Yes, I agree, and Oh Yeah? Wake up…. all you quiet non-commenters!!!!
The battle of the genders will never end…. Many a seemingly brainy man will attempt to derive a fancy equation to prove what a problem a woman is, but the fact is….
Admit it – We just do it all, and you can’t cope up,
and Admit it again…
Men, You need us women!! We are your problem because we are your solution too! :-)
An English professor once wrote on the blackboard: Punctuate this sentence: ‘Woman without her man is nothing’.
The men wrote: ‘Woman, without her man, is nothing.’
All the women wrote: ‘Woman! Without her, man is nothing.’
As Nobel Peace prize winner, Henry Kissinger once said, “Nobody will ever win the battle of the sexes. There’s too much fraternizing with the enemy.”
So, Men may be from from Mars and Women from Venus, but we absolutely Need each other in this Love-Hate relationship.
This is a cute song, enacting such a cute battle between the genders, from the movie “Hum Tum” picturized on Saif Khan and Rani Mukherjee. I absolutely enjoyed collaborating on this song with our dear Rahul, who has done an awesome job with his singing and monologue portions. Am a big fan of the petite, husky-voiced Rani Mukherjee, so I thoroughly enjoying acting out her voice.
Aakhir, Isliye Ladkiyaan ladkon si nahin hoti!
Do check this fun duet out at your leisure, and please drop in your constructive and valuable f/bs on our performance.
Also, Please check out Rahul’s LADKI KYU – HUM TUM VIDEO to enjoy this to the fullest.
Thank you for your time. Enjoy the festivities :-)

@Harry – About the mix, well this was our preference of how we wanted our voices to sound in the mix. Also, there is no pleasing to everyone, isn’t it? But, we are extremely happy with the mix:) But good to know a different perspective.

Fuller voice you have Rahul. Loud and clean along with you trade-mark Fx. Listening Sudha may be the second time. It gets very difficult to listen to two singers in the same song without starting to compare the performance, specially with amateur singers. Nice song I probably heard while watching the film. Your mix is very good. If a listener really likes a song he will increase the volume knob himself to his taste, but you be careful you have almost approached that nice audio level for such modern songs.
P.S: Enjoyed conversation style singing by both of you.
Regards.

Fantastic singing and monologue portions by you both. Felt, especially with the video, that I was listening to the original. Hat’s off to you both!
btw poor ladkon ki haar to tay hi hai. They lack argumentative skill set by default, LOL.

Hi Sudha and Rahul, what a nice turn of events! First of all I will refrain from commenting on the gender war, as I have a vested interest :) I have heard Rahul this genre of songs before but this is the first time I have heard Latha trying something like this! I think this is the duet in muziboo that is done thoroughly and most professionally in allll respects, Rahul generally does this kind of songs easily , but never ever realized, Sudha has such a different musical and jolly good musical face, always thought of her as one stuck within the strict hadith of classical framework… now i think sudha has more talent in this genre of music than classical ones !!! great duet….

Thanks a bunch dear friends for your warm appreciative feedback. Rahul and I certainly had fun working on this light-hearted fun duet with monologues. Glad you all enjoyed this one. :-)
@Harry – Rahul handled the mix and the video. Actually, it was a challenge for him on this mix as our tones are different, and he mixed the vocals separately from the dialogues, so this mix was preferred for its balance. Will keep this in mind for a future post.
@Naqvi Saab – Welcome to my space, Thank you for your profound insights as well. :-)
@Adwait – Yes, men are short on words in general, I do pity them on that one… Kinda will support them there! ;-)
@Rajeev, Satheesh – Glad you liked my alternate genre post here. You ain’t seen nothing via these posts… have done these genres and also acted back in college days. :-)
