Back after a short respite – Thanks to indomitable throat allergies and just being swamped…
I have to first thank all the kind souls in this space who have been checking with me about my health – Thanks to you all and God’s grace, I feel a lot better now.
Here is a beautiful heart-melting ghazal by Late Madan Mohan sung soulfully and as always inimitably by Lataji.
Here is my humble attempt within my limited abilities. There are many better renditions out there on Youtube, and of course do check out Adwait’s version on Muziboo.
The tune is based on Raag Multani (cousin to Raag Madhuvanti) and uses some signature elements common to both raags.
Thanks a lot to Babu for the track, and also for his encouragement… Please drop in if you get a chance, and pen down your valuable feedback.

one thing i have felt, you select songs for satisfying the thirst of the artist within you, and not so much for the audience, which IMHO is commendable, as invariably the audience ends up loving your songs!

Complete Singing. Flawless. Harakate, and modulation with timely punctuation with breathing is very rare to find.
Kaise SSSSS was very very good, but slightly extended a bit. That is why I dislike tracks, which do not give us space enough to paint song more colourful. Nevertheless, talent has no barrier!
I wish I could sing like that.
