This is one song I have been trying to sing since long …but am not satisfied with the kind of output from me… A real tough number which sounds very easy… Great effort by you both Satheesh and Sudha…

Satheesh… You were excellent in your style and expressions… The step “Thodi der …” was awesome…(1.08-1.09)… This song requires tremendous breath control…you have sung it with great ease for which I envy you.!!! Just felt a need for little more clarity in harkats at a very few places like at ‘Dil Abhi…’(0.12) , ‘Bhara nahin…’ (0.14), again at ‘dil Abhi…’(0.19-0.20), ‘kahaa nahin …’ (1.20-1.22)…These are not major anyway…

Sudha…I just am amazed at the perfection with which you have rendered your portions…!!! Awesome… perfect on the harkats, brilliant expressions and great voice…!!! The naughtiness is coming out extremely well…

It is really incredible that you managed to collaborate on a duet in such a short time!

I agree with Sudha that perhaps this is Satheesh’s best, and he is fast turning into one of my favorite singers here on Muziboo!

Sudha, you have also complimented really well here incorporating all the ‘Asha’ stylings. Actually this song is more tough for the female singer and you have sung the ‘higher register’ part of the song with consummate ease!

I am truly sad that this cover had to come out as a tribute to the most handsome hero who bestowed visual cognition to most of the most sweet songs of Rafi saab…. My only consolation is, I am fortunate enough to do this with Sudha, One of the best six in Muziboo…been wanting to do a duet with her for long, she being a busy bee couldnt find a slot, now i am somewhat happily sad at last…. Very sad to hear Dev saab leaving us all but I am happy for the fact that he lived a full and great life. We will all miss him a lot. May his soul rest in peace.

Dil abhi bhara nahin. Surely 4.38 mins is too less. I wished it played much longer.
Satheesh – Brilliant vocals. Such an effortless singing on this difficult song. Rafi sahab had punjabi touch on certain words such as ‘ban’ in ‘Bahaar ban ke’ and you sang that in similar fashion. That shows how minutely you followed the legend.
Sudha – Another brilliant performance. Very expressive. Those were the times when female singers were also singing in the same octave which was at time very high for female singers. This is one such songs and you did a fab job.
