Veda Ghoshalevo Lyrics & Chords
This is a sample from my album ‘Jagamantha Janani’ – a musical ballet for a local non-profit organization, SiliconAndhra. Lyrics were written by renowned writer Sri Volety Parvateesam from Hyderabad, India. The album is about the universality of motherhood and how a mother’s love can take various forms. Song has been sung by my very good friends, Yamini Potti (a.k.a melody queen) and Narayanan Raju (a.k.a mods for his various vocal modulations).
This particular song is about the selfless love shown by a “Brahmini” – wife of a learned preacher. I just love Yamini’s mellifluous voice in this song and Narayana has done an excellent job of rendering the “Vedas/Slokas” in a very authentic fashion. You would probably beleive me if I told you these lines were sung by an actual priest ;)
