This is from the movie Surya s/o Krishnan directed by Goutham Vasudev menon. Music by Harris Jayaraj. This song is telugu version of the OST from the movie “Moodupani” the song is “En iniya pon nilave” composed by Maestro Ilayaraja.

Never stop moving your hand move it up-down-up-down….so on, if you stop moving your hand you are not correct. This applies to all songs. But then what is the strumming pattern?
strumming pattern is nothing but you only touch the string in some pass by other pass by’s you will miss it intentionally. But we stop in middle(as we listen it to sound like that, but if we see and listen playing by someone then it will be clear.) This is the mistake everyone do. Even i did that mistake. You can apply your own strum pattern such that it is in song tempo, beat, bar.
You do it and sing along. After some practice you will automatically gets your own strum pattern.
Will you ask strum pattern for every song you listen? Next time never ask strum pattern anyone. I assure you you will play any strum pattern you listen after you listen a song.
