Here goes my next cover,Pillai Nila from Neengal Kettavai. If anyone wonders why Raja sir is called Maestro,this single composition justifies the reason :)I wonder many times how IR makes a piece of art sustain so long creating the same impact since its creation,even after close to three decades.I could say this beautiful song finds a respectable place in the list of evergreen numbers of Raja Sir which lives forever.
I should really thank Muziboo for letting me know that there is a KJY’s version of this song. I was aware of only the Janaki Amma’s version of the song and only after listening to a beautiful cover here in muziboo by the muziboo’s most popular and promising singer Raj, I came to know about the
KJY’s version. This really fascinated me and triggered the urge in me to cover this song. I covered it few weeks back but was not sure of uploading this, not just because of the original KJY’s song but also the cover which introduced me this song. Even after multiple takes I was not able to come closer to both but the urge in me to upload this too haven’t let me go. Hence here goes my cover :) Hope I have not impaired both the sources of inspiration. . .

Well attempted….as I said earlier, you need to take care of those minor off-pitches and improve the quality of recording. Also, concentrate in the feel and expressions of the song. You will sound much better. With the resources you have, your work is commendable. We all started like this in the early stages. Keep working.

I am really glad to know that my cover version inspired you to attempt this evergreen number… Feel-wise this was awesome and the flow was enviable too… You can get rid of the pitching issues through practice… We are the best adjudicators of our works and you would probably have known where to improve… :) To be honest, this did strike a chord in me discounting the pitchy places and off notes… Good Luck, mate!!!
