Our dear Subbu had recently pointed out that I have not been posting any Tamil songs for quite some time, which I had promised him to do soon. Well,here it is in the form of Ilayarajaji’s cute composition of a duet from the film “Puthtu Puthu Arthangal” originally sung by SPBji & Chitraji. This is my first ever humble presentation of a duet in “MUZIBOO”.
What makes it more special is that I have the honour of presenting a very talented singer,Resmi, who is a bright medical student & an exponent of Karnatic Music.She does concerts in Karnatic Music as well as sings with my humble self for stage programmes & recordings.
I hope that all my dear fellow-Muzibooans would hear & enjoy this song and also give her a big hand.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks to you Resmi for singing this with me.
Subbu, I hope GOD has allowed me to fulfill the promise made to your good self.

It is a beautiful rendition with expressions and improvisations abound….enjoyed listening to this immensely….felt you sounded very different from your many other renditions I was privileged to listen……The original, though,I thought had lil less reverb for that "near feel’ modulations that SPB did,especially Naan konda kadhalukku….
