I definetly can relate to this song, becoz it was dubbed in Telugu…. First of all George kudos to you man, i dont know whether it is the first time you are singing in Tamil, if it is yes, then you were awesome…. needless to say that your voice adds a new texture to the song, Tara you were very good, the female singer has struggled a bit in rendering the highs in this song, you were pretty good in that, brilliant singing.

Tara – Stupendous rendition; you have a great range.

Areas for improvement: After the 1st Charanam, while Tara was singing “Mundinam Paarthene….”, the breath taking was too pronounced, can be easily avoided while recording.

Been looking forward to this for some time ever since Tara mentioned you guys were working on this.

Tara, great voice and you sung this superbly. The high notes were nice. Expressions are your forte and it was great as usual. Breath control could be better.

George, very good rendition. From a recording stand point, this could have been better. Felt there were many instances where it was evident that you had not sung the lines continuously – some thing I have not noticed in your other recordings. Harmonies were great as usual.

Couldn’t agree more with comments that this rendition was better than the original in Prashanthini;s voice. You have rocked in this one. Voice is very apt for this song and sounded effortless. Oh! and yes, harmonies in George’s intro were simply awesome :)

George,

You have worked a lot for this song, as is apparent from this cover. Your diction has come a long way from mudhal mazhai, for instance.

The way you start after Tara’s lines in the 2nd stanza is very very well done. Exactly shows the pain that those lines are supposed to reflect!! Ofcourse, your improv by adding oooohhh*2 times harmonies at the final vennila part was a brilliant move.

great mastering quality… the talk by Surya ruined an objective assessment of your excellent vocals….perhaps you might wish to avoid this talk by Surya…George! your voice is as always incredible and your singing the best….however, there is some scope for sound engineering a little whisper into your voice to make it sound a tad bit peppery….but overall i loved your interpretation of this song…Tara you sounded perfect!
