First, very good choice of song- it had been so long since I heard this gem (barring the lyrics), so thanks! And the karaoke track is also so good!

Lovely rendition, both of you- very good harmonies and overlays.
George- tamil pronunciation is the only drawback. Otherwise, your style really suits this song :)
Tara- felt a nagging (very) slight off pitch throughout the song- seemed to be a tad lower. May be I’m wrong…. but as usual, voice as sweet as ever and liked your style :)

Great song choice and rendition. Very minor diction issues with George and some very minor(I could feel that in only one palce)sruthy issues with tara in couple of words towards the end of charanam. Enjoyed the harmonies. 5/5 from me…

Hi Tara, nice energetic one and George’s voice was nice and bright. Your voice was sweet. Opening humming part seemed a bit off and here and there in the female parts. Wonder what it could be!. Felt like you guys could have worked off slightly different tracks? I could be wrong of course.

Thank you all for your feedback. Thank you so much Tara for suggesting this wonderful song. I did not feel the shruthi issue in her voice. In fact I feel this is one of her best. Loved her vocals and not to mention the harmonies.

I agree on the diction…. I figured I couldn’t be much worse than Udit, so might as well give it a shot :-)

Srini – Agree about the SPB voice being done by someone else man. Maybe thats something we can still do.

Udit Narayanan has killed even malyalam songs ….with his horrible diction and here we fight over diction issues ….lol

I used to love this song, for its nice catchy beats and the melodious humming ……Both of you have great job ….George you were fantastic ….Tara great singing even I felt your shruti was slightly lower ….great effort. Top notch harmonies.

Not too familiar with the original and cant talk anything about the diction. However it has to be better than Udit Narayan’s… I really wonder why we need to go and fetch such singers who cant pronounce even the simplest word in a language… Especially when we have real good talents within the state…

Awesome choice of song guys, i really loved the way George mixed it (i’m guessing it to be you man)….

George you have sung this really well man, can’t say much about the diction, but you sounded very good, especially I like your interpretation of Udit’s voice.

Tara, don’t know what everyone else is talking about your off’s, I didn’t realize anything, your energy was awesome throughout the song. Very nicely sung.

George & Tara— probably one of those songs where I can stand Udit ( ofcourse Sahaana Saaral was okie to be honest :-)

George, loved your parts, your harmonies were an absolute treat to the ears. But, somehow the landing notes of the initial few lines just didn’t sit well on my ears. I know how the original is, and I know I am not comparing it to that as well, but somehow it is a little odd. Barring that, thought it very well done and spot on expressiveness.

Tara, agree with Murali & Sindhuja on the slight sruthi lapse in the initial lines. Other than that, your voice shined through and particularly enjoyed your style and harmonies.

Overall, think an awesome awesome contemporary number to pick and your voices were a perfect fit, like a good t-shirt :)

Though my native place is Mangalore (We speak Tulu & Kannada), I listen to Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil songs also, though my mind does not understand it my soul dances to the tune of the music, melody, harmonies and words of this song of yours.
