Overall nice job!

Kumaran— Emotions spot on……your ending notes were a delight to hear. A very nice & smooth rendition.

Tara— Nice improvs on the ending notes. Voice, as always sounds very clean and crisp. kovilukkul/kaadhalukku sounded a little flat while going up ( a little more nelivu shulivu would have made it even beautiful if you know what I mean :) The only other suggestion that I might have, is the breath control at some places. Breath seems to be a distraction quite a lot in the pallavi specifically. My 2c

Again, an awesome pick for both your voices :)

Tara – I always admire your effortless singing of high notes. ‘kovilukul’ parts were beautifully done. Loved the endings, neram, ragam etc. It was a energetic n sweet rendition.

Kumaran – Expressive n nice rendition.Do u have sore throat/sumthing? Sounded like u strained a lot. Also felt you stressed sum words idhayam, amudham, azhagil more than needed.

Maybe I put a little more stress on some words, will take care of this in future. Maybe my voice itself is like a sore throat voice?? maybe, ha ha. Thanks again for the pointers.

Nice pick again

I completely agree with Meera on the breadth noise in your portions,some how it has become so noticeable again in the last couple of songs,further it seems to have been amplified by the fx applied,may be you shd de ess before applying any fx to reduce it.

Kumaran :You were awesome-In my view one of your best here.

Thought I heard pops at a few places….that distracted a bit….over all a great attempt.

Tara – you sounded so sweet and felt that you glided through the song. Very nicely done – btw in case you didnt know – in Malayalam we say “deepam” and not “deebam”- so KSC must have had a mal hangover when she sang deebam :)

Wonderful song to pick , kumaran that is amazing in your vocals and loved the feel. Tara you r nice too but there is a slight wvering in notes in sustained notes lke in azhagooo its audible for me….I am myself prone to this issue in all of my renditions……I am clearing it off this issue in recent renditions.

I dont know how could IR comes with so nice melodic construction in a minor scale downbeat pattern that gives fresh breath even after 1000 listens….he has almost done all the feelings in Mayamalava gowlai raga…paasam sogam….kadhal , inbam etc

amazing composition from him ….probably he would have composed this in 3 to 5 minutes as the director discribing the situation. you both have captured all his thought sinscerely in this rendition.

Your nemesis seems to have paid a short visit. The word silai azagO is not exactly on scale. and why not use your full throated baritone ? the voice sounded weak in many places. Will look forward to more interesting stuff from you.

Tara:

Your tone is enticing as in every song of yours. But your delivery in this lacks the professional punch which has become your hallmark. For example the word “adhu inimai” has some micro sangathis at “mai” which has gone flat. Similarly the the first time you sing “kavidhaigaL padiththidum nEram” – you seem to be wondering if you should concentrate on the syllables or the swarams although I do recognize that line is loaded with syllables.

Very expressive singing Kumaran! I liked that “kaviyo”! Occasionally notices off pitches. The voice has been EQ’d too much and it has lost that natural sweetness. Also, I guess the mic was too close – I occasional heard some noises. Nevertheless, awesome singing.

Tara, I liked the ending notes in the first two lines of pallavi, which I feel are the characteristic notes of this song. Very nice rendition!

Just heard Jo and Ramya’s version of this song.

Tara you sound very different, may be the way you mixed it, your voice sounded huskier in this. Very well rendered though, agree with Meera on breath issues, but i think its just a minor issue.

Kumaran, As always I liked your voice, liked the expressions and feel, but agree with Murali’s observation that you could have sing it much more openly.
