Your voice is soothing for sure as in any other song. However, many lines have been sung in a different fashion. Both notes and timing need more attention.

This is a tricky song in terms of timing. It is because the the first wo lines of the pallavi always lag the beat by half whereas the lines that follow namely “mey maraNdhu maara” sit exactly on the beat.

IF you compare yourself with the original for the line “naan mey marandhu maaRa”, oyu may recognize that your timing and original timing do not match. “mey” should be on the beat (or samam)

If my words here are confusing, I will explain in gtalk sometime.

Hi Tara, its my favorite song… n I wud love singing it always… As murli said many parts of the song r different from the original which lacks some feeling… But ur voice s awesome… I understood ur limitations too… still you did justice to the song… u sounded so professional… kudos

tara lovely singing …. at the bigining of the song you have varried the emotion of the situation…it sounded to me like the song is sung in merry……in you krk track….that longing feel was what needed….you had a range issue in the charanam……dont you ? but absolutely this is one of the good rendition of this song….

Lovely song and well sung. It is indeed a tricky song when it comes to timing. The harmonies in this song are beautiful and your attempt was nice. I was eagerly waiting for the aah…. aah…. harmony before “koodu vittu koodu” but the song stopped before that. Anyways, enjoyed listening to this song.
