It rubs me as U2 or the Cranberries with the repeated droning of the chords. It makes me think of rolling green hills and rolling blue skies. When it starts to pick up (i.e. the guitar get’s louder) I’m getting reminded of the GooGoo Dolls. My only complaints are in this order: The beginning is really rocky for me; I would like to hear more girl and less guitar; near the end there were these squacking sounds which I hope wasn’t meant to be in the song; the guitar seems to peak out the whole piece which I imagine is do to the mike, or at least I hope it’s due to the mike. These are only technical problems as the song it self is masterfully done. Keep up the good work, and you better get on the radio. I mean it. I need to buy your album.
thankyou for the compliment…. i know that i do hide behind the guitar most of the time…. where as i am so shy…. the squaking sound… haha is either your meaning the mic…. or it was my baby crying as i recorded it when he was 2 months old and he was crying at the end…lol…. i have written alot of songs…and just did 2 covers which i will post soon…. one being 5 days in may by blue rodeo… and what if god was one of us…. by joan osborne… thankyou again…. will also be posting my new song ever…. hope to hear what you think….
