Canon in D Major Lyrics & Chords
This is an interpretation of a famous western classical song titled Canon in D Major. The song was originally composed by Johaan Pachelbel and the chord structure is extremely popular (features in songs by several mainstream bands). The guitar version was popularized by the youtube version of a Korean guitarist (who goes by the name funtwo). This arrangement was originally created by Jerry C, a taiwanese guitarist and musician.

any light on your equipment and recording
the tone sounded a lot like Satch
very clean very nice….i noticed a slight buzz on the 12th fret of the B string….wonder if you did hit that point but there was a slight buzz….i suffer that same problem and was wondering if u know what causes it !!

For this song:
Guitar: Silvertone ($70 cheap fender copy)….my first electric guitar :-)
Processor: Korg AX 3000 G….I just programmed a basic patch….several people suggested that it sounded very satch like (which sure is a mega compliment)….the patch has some compression, metal distortion simulator with the gain turned to around 70 percent and digital delay (if i remember correct i set it to abt 450ms)….thats abt it…
Recording: I use cool edit pro (yes i know it is very basic)….as for the sounds on this the richness is because of several layers….for instance, the chord pattern riff is basically 4 layers one on top of the other…this gives the depth to the sound….the thing is I’m pretty bad at mixing….so it probably will sound better if mixed with better skill….
(PS: I’m gonna miss the tones and my guitars….i sold them all and will be starting afresh….plan to get myself an Ibanez with the FR bridge….any recommendations????)….
