Shure Mics

Hi,
I would like to get some of your thoughts/experience with the foll 4 mics. All of these are handhelds, but differing in type (dynamic/condenser) and pattern (Cardiod/Super Cardioid). I understand the effect of the mic type (dynamic vs condenser) on the sound quality. But I am not sure about the effect of mic pattern within each type.

1) Shure SM58 – Dynamic / Cardioid
2) Shure Beta 58A – Dynamic / Super Cardioid

3) Shure SM86 – Condenser / Cardioid
4) Shure Beta 87A – Condenser / Super Cardioid

Would like to start discussion to share our experiences with these mics and any suggestions for folks going for new mics.
