Hi Friends!
This is a song which I composed 2 years back. This is one of my personal favorites amongst the songs I have composed.
The most interesting aspect about this song is the manner in which the lyrics was written. It all happened over a small conversation between me and Rahul Soman. The lyrics of this song were written in a matter of 15 minutes by Rahul amidst the usual chit chat with me. What amazes me is the thought of how could somebody write something as good as this amidst all the distraction from the person sitting beside you! And believe it or not the lyrics was perfect to the meter of the composition! Hats off to this guy! Thanks so much bro! :)
Then came Eshwar Ravishankar (Sushane Shankar as you all may know him), who changed the face of the song with his beautiful background score! Loved it man! Owe you one too! :)
It was a wonderful experience working with Urmila Varma on this song. She is such a fabulous singer and I feel privileged to have been able to have part of this song. Thank you so much chechi! Means a world to all of us!
It was a tough choice as to who would sing this one. That was when we thought of requesting Vinod Venugopal to sing this one for us. For all you folks who do not know Vinodettan, he is the brother of renowned playback singer Sujatha. It was indeed a pleasure to have got a chance to work with Vinodettan. He has done a fantastic job in this one! Am sure you would all agree with me.
A special thanks to our dear friend Deepesh AK, for all the moral support and for the help with the mix… Owe you one too bro… :)

Susanth, felt very different….really pleasant to ears. I have to say that Vinod Venugopal’s voice….he deserves a special congrats….has done a fabulous job….varikalkkellam jeevan koduthu pole…and Rahul……nalla varikal……that really added on to this song. And background orchestration …wonderful…especially those mrudangam in charanam part…And Urmila…. valare nannayi paadi….nalla akshara shudhi…. All together….team, you have done a wonderful job. Really wonder how you could work together especially being from different places.

Sushanth….beautiful composition…esp loved the arrangements……I know I am pretty late here :) The singers have done a great job….but I am surprised that you didnt go for it….you are such an awesome vocalist….and if its your own composition….who knows better than you…just my 2 cents……better late than never….loved it all the way. Very soothing and trendy….which fits the newer genre of mallu songs……

This was one of the compositions tht had been very close to my heart… So I wanted the best… Am sure even if I had decided to sing this song, I would not have done half the justice Vinodettan has done to our song… His feel simply took the song to a different level altogether! :)
Such an output was the reason for me to get such an awesome response from some of the big guns in the industry like Sujatha, Unni Menon, Aalap Raju, to name very few… All credits to the team… :)
