I am really happy to be back with our 2nd collaboration in the Fusion Project we (Guru Praveen, Babu N.M. and Myself) are working on.
This is a very special Krithi written and composed by the great Sri Annamacharya… This song is all about life… It speaks about life being a drama and we being the actors on the scene. But whatever we say or do in life, at the end of it all, time reminds us of the ultimate goal, liberation to reach god… Such a wonderful concept, written by the messenger of God himself, Sri Annamacharya.
This song has been composed in one of my favorite raagams, Revathi… Such a beautiful raagam this. To add more life to the already beautiful song, Guru has done a Brillaint job with his background score. To top it all, superb mixing by our very own Babuettan at his Studio Mysterious Sounds Digital
Myself and Guru must thank Babuettan specially, for all the hardwork he has put in into mixing this song for us. This I am sure is the song they have worked for the longest period till date. They provided us with about 9 completely mixed versions and were still committed to work further if none of these were pleasing to us. Remarkable piece of work I must admit! And, to be perfectly honest I was left confused and dazed as to which one to choose, as each one was great in its own way… Thank you so much Babuetta and Mysterious Sounds Digital! :)
So here we go with our humble attempt at this great krithi. I dedicate this song to the great singer Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi who is very famous for singing this Krithi and by far the best singer of this song. Though we have deviated from the actual rules, I hope we have done our best to retain the divinity of the song…

Liked the arrangement a lot, was very apt and not overpowering like some fusion/remixes tend to be.
Very good singing Sushanth. On the improvement front, felt you can open up a bit more in certain spots, especially the higher registers. Appreciate your effort in putting this together.

@Sushanth garu… You have a great voice and liked all the modulations in this rendition… I just felt that the pronunciation of these words… ‘Nattanadi’, ‘Yetta’ and ‘Katta’ in the anupallavi could have done better… like… the word ‘nattanadi mi’ sounded like ‘natanadi mi’ for me… Same with the other two… just felt the ‘tta’ stress was missing slightly…! Overall… this was an adorable effort Sushanth garu :) liked it!

Loved the write up to give us a background on the concept of life and the krithi. The life as a drama projected from the One source and absorbed into where it came from eventually.
Lovely BGM and fantastic vocals Sushanth…the BGM with the sound of waves hieghtened the feel. Babu anna’s intricate work has added more lustre to your art work. Excellent to feel and listen.
