Thalamayanju Ganamapoornam
Thalamayanju Ganamapoornam Lyrics & Chords
Here’s a song from the Mohanlal classic Pavithram. This song was written by the phenomenal ONV Kurup (amazing lyrics), composed wonderfully by Sharath and superbly rendered by the legend K J Yesudas.
A big thanks to my friend Dr Biju Ramachandran for introducing this song to me. Very recently, one morning, I decided to record this song and dialled my singer friend Sathish. He agreed, inspite of a tight schedule, and spared some time to record this song. A special thanks to him.
Looking forward to your feedback and valuable suggestions.

Dear Biju
Many thanks
Listening to you sing mallu numbers and our interactions/discussions on songs/singers/lyric(ist)s/composers have definitely motivated me to try out a wide range of mallu songs and consistently work on the feel and diction. Glad to know you liked it. I shall continue to sing mal numbers and hopefully post a few more songs in the future.

Surendran, nice song and very nicely sung too. Your voice has a rich and pleasant texture and suited this song well. Noticed a few diction issues – will be good to watch that aspect. There were many places which were very beautifully taken.

Ajay – Glad you liked the rendition. You are right on the hummimg. Felt there should have been more punch. Biju loves dificult songs, especially the malayalam numbers. But, on most occasions they are nice and leaves an impact.
Devan – Many thanks. Sharath has done a great job. What a talented musician he is!!! Hope he composes more songs in this genre.

Vimala – Thanks for your encouraging words. You are right, one needs to be careful while rendering Sharath songs. A small off note and that could mar the song.
