as sree said, u r improving….ill point out the the places where u need to improve in this song……landing notes….jaye,…etc….din dhal jaye sounded like westernized style……some words needs to be stressed……some places u went off key….paraye and some more…….work on these and u will be fine…….

This is a fairly good rendition, I would say……nice song and you’ve sung this your own way.
The comments above have already given you pointers for improvement….hope to hear more Hindi songs from you…haven’t heard any of your English numbers yet….will do that soon…:)

Thanks Vaishali :-) ya thats the gr8 thing about muziboo, you get so many tips for improvement :-) , trust me i really was a bad singer before i joined muziboo, all my improvement has been because i’ve been reading the comments seriously and working on the suggestions given by people here :-). Sumit, full marks to your courage. You were attempting a very difficult song despite of your limitations and done it pretty well. Hats Off. Please give the credentials of the songs, which would improve our GK on songs:)

Sumit Bhai, Din Dhal Jaay, Raat Na Jaay, thoda aur doob ke gaya jaay…. :) it would make it so much better……. I felt you were little conscious when while singing the song……however at the later stages you were more comfortable ……aisa gana doob ke gaya jaay tho behtar hai :)…

Like wise I appreciate your effort to sing Hindi Songs. Yes I agree with Harshan that you selected a bit tough one… But still it was quite good . You sang it in your own style which was musically right though not very much as what S.D.Burman conceived it to be…
Keep trying …you will surely be there after a few of these trials…
