Susmita….one of the immortals of Lataji. You have a nice voice, singing was also good, except for some occasional flats (esp in the higher registers). I am sure you will do much better, if you pick an easier song…liked your attempt.

Lovely pick and very nice singing. Good pointers have been covered – About high notes, one way to handle this would to be to record at 1/2 or 1 note lower, and if your voice warms up hitting the higher registers, you can do your final take at the original pitch. Good singing overall,

Nice song, nice attempt. I liked your voice, suitable for LataJi’s songs.
Others pointed out the ‘areas of improvement’ as for your singing. Let me point out the mixing flaws: Sounded like you recorded voice & music together, which makes the voice overpowered by the music, making the lyrics not coming out clean. Record the voice while listening to the track on a pair of headphones, edit the voice file and then mix with the track. You won’t believe your own ears how well it would sound. Use effects appropriately, not too much not too little. Tryout various effects parameters.
