Jake….lol…its funny that you mention that…i learnt to play guitars at quite a late stage in my life ! People were busy trying to hook up and planning on getting married…lol….and i was like…how do u play this “damned” thing !!! hehe…i truly share your feelings
its funny you can play stuff that overwhelms you…lol sometimes when i practise i think of the times back in the day and then i will suddenly miss a note or something ! so i try not to think of that exact comment you made …just try to move with the flow :)

Great attempt. Dream Theater is one of my favorite band. I started listening mainly due to Keyboard Wizard Jordan Rudess. And this song is no easy task.

DUDE!!!! I cant believe you covered this. I am very curious as to what was in the backing track and what your portions were. If you played what I think you played, its AMAZING!!! Some small timing issues, but this is a Petrucci number man. Kudos to you for ever trying it. 5/5 and goes to my favs!!

@Buddha….yes i know specifically what you mean…i overlayed 3 guitar tracks since i dint want to duplicate the same track ( thats cheating) i guess thats where i might have missed a couple of notes
@Ganesh…back in the day….i stood with Jordan Rudess and his son…chatted with them for 30 mins…lol !! Dream theater werent that big at that time lol …i should have taken his cell # …damn !
@George….i did all the guitar work…i used one guitar track for basic …second one for effect… third one for the guitar harmonies…the third track is way way way behind so it sounds a part of the backing track…so yes whatever are Petrucci Parts i played all of it…the backing track was only the bass drums and keyboards….in fact the backing track is really the original track without any guitars at all
