Claustrophobia ( Original Composition )
Claustrophobia ( Original C... Lyrics & Chords
This is my original composition and it is an instrumental.
I recorded this song on March 12,08.
The Drums were the difficult part on this song.
I loved doing the bass lines for this song.
For the Drums , i used my yamaha workstation
Bass , Rhythm and leed guitars , i have used my Ibanez.
On a nice day , we all like to take up on challenging situations
it pushes us into a corner and you feel the sky is falling on you
and the earth below has disappeared…
But once again you resolve the situation and come out victorious.
This song has tried to capture that feeling.
Comments would be greatly appreciated.

its a little unconventional … isn’t it? I mean the music changes sort of mood twice or something … is that some popular form of things
it sounded cool … but i was curious to ask

well…the beginning part of the song is when you are confident…the middle part is when ur pushed into a corner and ur claustrophobic but then in the end you will always emerge victorious… dont u? its not really unconvential…i am tempted to call it progressive but i’ll let anyone else second that…

i heard this some 5 times and still can’t seem to get enough of it … u r an awesome composer sudeip … this is one of those instrumentals which gives a feeling of being launched into the space or something…leaving the earth behind … lol, u get the picture right. am not sure, but i feel it must be really tough to think of a composition like this…and to give it all the shapes and colour, and u have done it all. am glad i know u man … autograph plz :)

dig the music. dig the message you put across.
however, at 1.14-1.18 are you going out of beat?? i just felt that. and at 2.00-2.08 makes me remind of the mughal empire. would be better if used as a Jodha Akbar soundtrack haha.
tight stuff bro. keep rippin’!

Interesting piece man. I loved the way it started. Felt the transition was a little bit abrupt. There wasn’t a smooth transition. There was some timing issues too like Joby mentioned. I think theres a little bit of refinement left. But good work nonetheless man!

To begin with, I would like to comment on the guitars… Amazingly done… Needs great control… Done well… Certain things that I felt that could have improved in the song…
Good composition though… Great work… Keep it up… Cheers… \m/

Personally, I don’t like Unclean compositions….Unclean means which don’t follow any rules….But I was hooked to this till end….
I consider Abbrupt part as a mood of composition….and don’t really want you to change unlike others….But i am sure that you need to work Extra and add Strong music to get listener Alert of you are doing TRANSITIONS……this would raise this Up very High….

Sudeip … that was brilliant buddy….
Here’s what i think ….the beginning and ending was perfect…… the middle part where you have tried to depict the chaos and the conflict…… should have lasted much longer…. This is were your story lies…… the rest is just the beginning and the end.
you know what i mean :)

well tried….Idea behind this composition is good ,but it lacks punch…… guitar missed some beats on entering the second verse ,may be you could have corrected it before up loading….and you are not giving importance to bass.
Sudeip Ghosh said
Hi Ramesh …point taken….i am not sure what u mean by “importance” to bass…do u mean a more heavier sound to the bass or do u mean in terms of notes….i ll keep that in mind for all future recordings…ive been feeling that a lot lately but i have been a little lazy to do that….
theres some construction going on in my bldg since last 3 weeks and its been very very difficult to work on any new music or other assignments u know ! but once i get some aural space i sure will make it a point to do that

Your guitar flow is amazing! To get the different states of emotions you have got the right parts with the right feel. Connecting those could have been done better – but this is my personal opinion.
