Below is my setup:
I use a Rode NT1a condenser microphone. I
would highly recommend this microphone for
any vocalist. You can find reviews at the
link below:

The next piece is my setup is a USB
Audio Interface. I use Lexicon Omega.
Once again, very happy with the interface.
It also comes with Cubase LE software and
the famous Lexicon Pantheon reverb software. Review below:

The last piece with regards to recording
vocals is a good piece of software to mix,
add effects etc. I use Cubase SX3 as of now,
but might move on to Nuendo soon (based on
Sunny’s recommendations)
In addition to all this, I am currently
trying to study Propellerhead reason.
This program allows you to compose tracks
and comes with a number of patches that
help you create loops etc. You should
check it out. I have a Midi interface to
work with Reason. I use the M-Audio Axiom.

Hope this helps other vocalists. Feel free
to contact me should you need more info.

Can anyone start new discussions specifically for microphones… their technical aspects… some branded names to go for… and for a particular purpose what to look for. I’m dumb on tht.
