As the lyrics cites, your singing is literally a sweet-talk… At the same time, am not sure if u would look like a pea-hen…He he he….
IR’s master-piece soundtrack was subservient in making this movie, ‘Bharathi’ a box-office hit which was unprecedented even by the producer – Media Dreams and the Director Gnana Rajasekaran… Wish to write something about this firebrand, Bharathi what I feel this very moment… Its a curse that people talking from their hearts without the clutches of the earthly attributes are laughed at… And it is what happened in his life as well… Though there are various hoax stories cornering him to be called an irresponsible family-head, I feel he has fulfilled the purpose of his birth…. Had he been there alive after the independence, he would have asked sivashakthi to give the strength to bear with the atrocities happening around… A Diamond in the dust – as he proclaims and asks Sivashakthi…. What a life he has lived!!!! No hypocrisy; No fallacy; No egotism; No exhibition; Unfortunately had a very short-lived life as always whom the God loved die young… Feel like penning down a poem on this poetic genius in tamizh now…. But harnessing myself now…. Would keep things in stock to write when others post other Bharathi songs… :-)
Suba!!!! What a song pick!!!! Enna oru serene feel tharum theriyumaa intha song?? You should have sung this with a proper track or should have given it as an unplugged version…. But cant afford to miss the beats in this song…. Bhava’s voice sounds the best and IMO the best fit for this song…. Thought u could have sung with an additional iota of childish tone…. And few places were lil pitchy…. This is the problem that arises due to the adjoining vocal cut track… Ennavo po…. oru mudivoda irukka pola irukku…. Orey IR classics thaan paaduvaennu sabathamaa??? But this doesn’t fail taking me to that transient state…. Mix panni irukkalaam sila effects ah…. Nonetheless superb song pick and perfect execution…. hats off…. Taking to my heart directly…. :-)

Please do not mistake me if I say that this song is the one I listened to the least in the entire movie- just a matter of personal choice :( But I listened to it this time for you :)

Subhashini: Have never heard this song. You have such a beautiful voice Subhashini. Some offs at nila oLiye… etc. the child-like voice was enjoyable. Not a catchy tune though, IMO.

Raj – Welcome. Nan pea-hen madiri ellam irukka matten :). Really loved your write up on Bharathi. Sila perukku neria vishayangal mind la irukkum but they cannot express it out, meaning communicate panna theriyadhu. I am one in that category. But you are gifted with sucha skill, nee engendhu ippidi ellam ezhudha kathukura. Need a communication class from you :). Also Raja song than paduvennu sabatham ellam illa, I relish singing his songs. Ellame appidi amanjiduthu. Idhukaagave oru non-IR song try panren seekiram.
I do agree about the pitch probs and the better feel. I sang this almost after 5 years (2 years back) break, so neria thappu irukkum. Thought of adding some effects but everybody knows my lazy bones. Summa oru enthu kaaga upload pannen. Glad it went to your favs and thank you for all the support.
