Huh, finally finished this. Had to do lot of pranayamam for this song. This is one song that needs amazing breath control. At the face of it, song seems easy but as I started rendering I fumbled multiple times and gave up at one point. Somehow finally managed to complete it, not sure if I will live up to your expectations this time. I very well know what pointers would come back too :) but looking forward to know what you think.
PS: Charanms are single take recording. Please bear all the flaws and notes that you don’t like :)

Nuances ellaam semmayaa cover pannirukke. Konjam huskiness saerthirunthaa innum superaa irukkum (’cos this song is dripping with naughtiness). Very good clarity in voice.

Bharathi akka, namma rendu perukkum sema wave length nnu nenaikkiren. Unga list kudunga oru tharam compare pannidalam. Track was not very good. Looks like a vocal cut track, I did not do anything to it. Not sure why it clipped. Will look into it. Thank you so much for your lovely words.

This song was released in 1993. The following year one of the Mohanlal blockbusters in malayalam ‘Thenmaavin kombathu’ carried a hit song ‘maanam thelinje ninnaal’ by Chitra and MG Sreekumar. The resemblance cannot be musical coincidence! For those who have not listened the pirated version, here’s the link:

Subhashini, Apidi podunga. One of Raaja’s edge of the seat song. Right from the composition, Orchestration, Vocals, Choice of instruments everything is interesting about this song. Interludes are just amazing. I just love this song. Raaja sir ku first oru O Pottudren !
On the effort, excellent ! Romba nalla paadeerkinga. Nuances are well captured. Nalla mood and attitude. Track interludes to vocals vara appo maruthu, so antha original backdrop instruments are also changing. Oru rendu edathula konjam off beat pochu and i agree on the breath control :) Huskiness kondu vandurkalam.
Loved your naana naana portions in the interlude. Hit the right feel and attitude there. Towards the end pineetinga with “Aala mayaki puttu”. Very well done and as usual with the choice of song asathureenga :D
