Ohh ya…. I remember this song!! You should make your daughter sing this for us! Would prefer the drums volume a little higher. Your guitar rhythms are always very tight. I sometime zoom in your rhythm track in our songs (collaborations) and wonder how one could play so tight with timing.

*Music washes away the dust sedimented in our soul of everyday life* I swear, I could really understand how good the quote is. It is always a bliss to listen to someone working on guitar and I personally feel this. You have not only plucked the chords but also have struck the chords with the listeners, me fellow muzibians so far(of course, with those who would have a chance to listen as well) *Let me hold ur hands and give a royal kiss.* Nice improvisations. Its really hard to work with you as far as new compositions are concerned. Bala would have known it. Though I dont know anything about the timing and other metrics involved in bringing out a fresh composition, I feel it as a listener. Still running in my mind. A fresh tune – would be apt for a sequence where a protagonist performs/sings in an excursional meet. LOl. Am neither a director nor a creator. But felt so. Superb work. I would be on cloud nine if given a chance to work for ur own compositions. Waiting for the renditions u have in pipeline for the ensuing days. A Full 5/5 from me and these type of works deserve more than that. My fav., Sagalakalaa Subbu anna’s work would surely decorate my Favourites’ stack and with your consent, I take the pride in picking this as my favourite. ;-)

Subbu, Excellent piece of work and your guitar hand to be specially given credit to. Very creative-I enjoyed it.
To make these short compositions more effective, I have three suggestions- One, introduce vocals(humming) for about eight bars or so at one or two junctures; two, give more variety of lead tones-here a piece of oboe could have lifted your tune; three, give variety to the percussion tones as well as takes-it can make a tremendous impact(listen to Sholay title music)
a 5/5 for your creativity and artistry on the guitars.

Subbu,

The song opening is grand and creates a celebration mood. As an instrument player you have effectively demonstrated your skill. As a composer you created rich expectation in the begining of the song and then your guitar strumming sustained that feeling for a while but the tune that followed sounds weak. Please take advantage of the grand opening and take your “randomness” to a different level. You can definitely make it more interesting.

Subbu, that was really superb work. Just take care on the balancing. The guitar strum was a little bit louder and if it were a little more quieter, it would have been more easy on the ears! And I also felt the off tune guitar, but some effect processors also do give that feel.

Wonderful piece of art my dear friend….I also agree that having heard earlier your daughter’s version of this tune you should have put the song in its original version with your daughter singing and some different lyrics…that would have been great….overall 5/5!!….i think now you should experiment on more different type of rhythms….waiting for that!!

Hey Subbu, sorry for being late here … this one slipped me somehow. I heard it three times in an auto cycle. It sure lived up to its name of “Random” and I liked it.

I thought the drums had a good tonal value that was good to hear and kept the pep of the track going. Loved the guitar strumming which reminded me of your style also in “Tholodu Thol” … I think u have a good strumming technique; for a few seconds I thought this was the spruced up track for that, until the leads came in!.

Overall a good mixing effect with your guitars, drums and bass but the leads were a bit weak for my liking. I love leads to be more expressive and dynamic to liven up the tune … may be next time get someone else to work on the keyboards for you … I think that will be a good collaorative effort.

I didn’t notice any tuning issue with the guitars that was really audible (was using my studio monitors) to me, like a couple have noted above. I guess my ears do not cover every frequency?!. Need it checked out with my ENT soon!.

Overall a good bash and a nice backdrop music for that event you mentioned. Loved the briskness and tight beat cycle and I could have this running in the background whilst I do my work on the comp. with a nice diet chocolate shake by my side?!. I can feel that it has given me that additional shot of much needed protein already!. Well done Subbu.
