Cute tune and somehow reminded me of ABBA style … perhaps if you had jazzed it up more and with a faster rhythm it would have been another hit like Abba’s :-)

Nice work team. Subbu, I really liked the chord progressions in particular. The composition did have an Abba feel. I liked the arrangement too for the most part. The lyrics at times seemed like it didnt fit perfectly. The flow was not there at times coz of that.

Sai you’ve sung well. This is the clearest I’ve heard your voice. The scale should have been a little higher though. It would have helped be more expressive. Some of the notes were too low for you.

Vidya, you’ve sung well overall. However I felt you over modulated at places. It doesnt always work for this style of music. Also the accent could have been more natural. Lastly, I felt some of the harmonies didnt blend completely and had too many layers.

Neil, this is a good mix. Its quite clean. But Sai’s and Vidya’s voice needs more compression and reverb in partcular. Sounds a little too dry right now. Also the harmony levels need to come down.

All that said, this is very good work. It takes guts to make your own compositions and you guys have set an example for others.

Subbu : You posted this around the time I was on a break. So, I could not hear then. I really liked the chord progression especially on the “Dropping trees” lines. Can you post the chord progression here if you don’t mind. It will be nice to know.
