Hello. I’m E Willems, the founder of the Orange County rock group the Stars of Sydney. I recorded these songs in my house on some cheap equipment. I did these recordings almost entirely on my own – I even played and wrote just about every instrumental part on my own, so my apologies for the low quality. We try to do everything in the rock book, just about, so listen to several of our songs before you pigeonhole us. ;)
When we play live, we are a power trio. Adam Rickers plays drums. Joey Anderson plays bass. I sing and play lead guitar.

I play on a PRS Soapbar and a Boss ME-50 with the occasional appearance of the Ab-synth Fuzz and the Boss SYB-3. The bass is some cheap Ibanez. The drums are a PDP, I think…. with a different brand smaller bass drum. I also use an Akai Head Rush for some of the echoes and Joey uses an Akai Unibass live.
The crashes are Sabian HHs and a Paiste Signature Full 14". The bell sound is a Paiste Twenty Mini China. The Rides are a K Custom Flat Top, a Paiste 602 18" Black Label Medium Ride, a late 80s K Ride (our lead ride), and a 22" Agop Signature Flat.
