I love it….

I have been to Shanmukhananda Hall too several times to see others performances since childhood. It is the biggest in Asia and so it was very famous in Mumbai I remember.

We used to have our family temple functions there.

Name of our family temple is Shri Shani Mahatma Puja Samithi.

We have 3 idols there:
Lord Shaneshwara, Lord Ganesha and Devi Maa
It is close by Andheri (in Jogeshwari).

I stay at Andheri.

My Dad happens to be the medium in the temple who puts forth everyones prayers to God. He has given all 3 idols in the temple and people from Mangalore were called to make the 3 idols.

This song was also dedicated to Devi Maheshwari in our family temple.

This hall is very close to my heart since childhood. Lot of pleasant and wonderful divine moments are associated with it.

It is somewhere near Matunga right.

Few years back they renovated it as the Hall caught fire.

One of the most beautiful halls that I had seen during that time in the 90’s when I used to visit it.

You are indeed lucky and fortunate like you said to be part of Shankar’s circle and to get an opportunity to sing, rehearse and perform with him during your teenage and that too in such a big hall.

My respect and love for you has grown with your humility, Sreeharshan my divine friend.

Yes, I see him. The girl in his video “Breathless” is my wife’s sister. She knows him very well. She is big startin Hyderabad and is married to Pawan Kalyan. Chiranjeevi’s brother. We were with them in august. Had an awesome time in Hyderabad.
