Well, good one buddy……as u are aware of the diction….will not talk about the same, but just letting u know that ur efforts in improving the diction is coming along well……very few errors in this one……bas thoda aur hard work and u will be fine…….

i liked it……but knowing u, could have been better……in terms of antaras, i felt some places disconnected in the 1st antara….2nd one was beautiful…….

Harshan , That was a good try of this difficult but beautiful song. Must say recording and mixing is very good :) expressions were good too :) IMHO the murkis on ‘bikharne ko’ and ‘bichadne ko’ could have been better like in the original….the one u did sounded plain….starting humming was a bit flat…also mood could be a bit brighter ….try smiling when singing such romantic songs…will automatically make a difference :) Keep singing:)

I like this song very much, first time heard this on radio in India(2 PM show). This song brought back all those memories.

Expressions were cool, you sang it really well, agree with NVK sir’s observation on harkaths which are little difrerent from the original, but it didn’t take away the beauty of your rendition.

Thanks for inviting me to this song Sreeharshan. I am glad you did!. That sounded so nice. You have a good voice and have rendered it well.

Where you sing “ko….” at the ending of words I think needs a bit of refinement (especially in the first pallavi) … finishing the endings is something that sometimes gets ignored and I would be guilty of that too many times!. You can do wonders with your voice in such songs if you perfect these bits which should be easy.

Hey the other thing is … your voice should be louder in this mix I feel.

Great job and thoroughly enjoyed this timeless piece.

U have a good voice. Needs modulation on the last syllable “ko” of bikharne"ko" and bichadhne"ko". also the uchcharan of “kh” and “ch” in the above. You really got into the song as it progressed. The last lines portrayed power in utterance with a confident voice. Maintained good Laya and Taal throughout. Overall, a very good job.

Sreeharshan – Lovely song by Kishore Kumar and you definitely have done more than enough justice to it, my favorite too. I also like to sing this song, but I have great respect for the variations, so have never ventured out of my comfort zone with it (read as: never attempted to sing outside the naturally reverberating atmosphere of bathroom:-)). But I have no doubt that you have sung it very well. Mix is also good; all the corrections or improvement suggestions to your rendition are minor….Keep bringing Kishoreda alive again and again ! Yeh dil maange more….

Loved the overall feel, though I think you sang the antaras much better than the mukhda. Lots more feel there. You sounded sort of self-conscious in the mukhda. Some diction issues, but that’s always okay with me! :-)
Is this in Raag Bhimpalashri? Please do help me on this one before I go mad!

Sreeharshan, since I am a die hard fan of Kishoreda, I do wish out to point out some problems. At many places you just have left out the original plans and have sung it plain. This takes away the beauty of the song. Think you have not listened to the original closely. Also please try to give feel by voice dynamics (increasing and decreasing the voice levels). It will add to the beauty of any song. Pitching was very good overall.

This is one of the most beautiful songs by Kishoreda. You have certainly got the overall structure of the song right in rendition however, some local details need to be care for. Some pitching issues like meghon ka ‘raag’ hai etc could be more cared for.

There are couple of tamil songs in this scale beemblashri raaga…… “radhiyin nenjamae”, “oorellaam un paatu thaan”, “sidhu nadhi karai oram” etc are inspirations from this beautiful song composition……loved it sreeharshan ji.
