Good to see you two trying hands on writing your own music. It takes a hell lot of time and thoughts to do this for which you are both commendable. But what is wrong with using loops? Loops are basically used for accompaniment layout, the rest has to be played anyway. You can construct your own loops also. What does keyboard rhythm do? It plays the same loop sequence for rhythm. Musicians use loops when they lack certain sounds on their Synths. I think this is just the right time for you two to look into it if you are serious about your own music. I am sure you guys enjoyed it much more than me because you lived it and I just heard it for the first time. Will listen later again from my Fav’s.

Lovely composition Adwait Bhai, great effects used with a variety of mixing techniques used. Liked the Pads in background and Accordian. Nice Tune as well.

Harshan bhai well sung, tune has a lot of variety and you did great.

As a nitpick I feel the vocal volume needs to be balanced on some of the softer parts. Perhaps 0.5 db more could do the trick. Just my opinion.

Overall a good product.

Naqvi ji: Agreed, there is nothing wrong in using loops. I have used and am using rhythm – especially the Tabla loops in my original compositions. But for this song…. we wanted every bit of music to be produced in original either through my keyboard or Harshan bro’s vocals. Ek Tashan keh sakte hain ise:) Hope it was enjoyable. I will scribble you to know more about how to create original loops. Its a great idea as those loops would ease the pains of playing/ recording every layer separately in full length for Music arrangement.

Listening for the 3rd time, finally on headphones! Very creative composition, awesome arrangement and nice Urdu-based lyrics, Adwait, and wonderful laid-back singing from Harshan!
I know how much hard work you both would have put in this creating everything from scratch, so first a big Kudos! As always, Adwait, you cook up the most complicated tunes, which I think as a listener, some of us are not even qualified to comment on. :-)
Big thumbs up for the arrangement too. If anything, thoda balancing of volumes between interludes and Harshan’s vocals would add more charm.

Harshan – nicely done. Can imagine the thrill and the effort behind working on an original. Kudos for that. From an improvement perspective, I thought at a few spots pitching can be cleaned up a bit and the sustain at the landing notes stengthened maybe? Or maybe Adwait visualised it this way.

Adwait – people who can juggle with singing/writing/composing always stump me and hence I refrain from crit-ing. Quite a hummable tune there and congrats on yet another original work.

Well that was nice to listen to your first ever original singing…. congrats to you as well as Adwait bro…. for creating such lovely tune…. I know its home made recording and had it been in pro studios, it would be more powerful and better in terms of final output…. still bit more reverb and echo could be added, especially when you go single on “kaise” some added echo can make it more nostalgic…. anyhow lovely work overall…. enjoyed it…. keep sharing like that.

Adwait ji… the BGM for the “kaise bhuladun mein tumko” (I donno how can tht be named) portion was so beautiful… also the sounds of waves in the start also gives a picturization to me as the song flows…. lovely! :)

Anything original is valuable unlike facsimiles….This is a great step on the part of Adwathji towards exploring the vast creative skill he surely possesses. A pro touch is visible at many places…Same way singing something original is also very very difficult as there is nothing to copycat…one cud tend to be unsure …in spite of limitations Harshan did best to be expressive doing maximum justice to lyrics… Great team work on an ORIGINAL…
