I have always admired how even you sound in any singers song, especially KishoreDa:) People do tend to copy the original singers tone and singing style and I just admire how you take the important things from the original without copying the singers tone:) and sing it in your own voice. Harshan … nice one but to be frank not one of your best in my humble opinion. These type of songs need to hit the starting and ending notes on the dot to give it the precise punch as these are lively numbers na!. Your singing was not too “certain” and did not hit the mark like you could have. As a result it lost its captiveness to my ears at least and very much sounded like you were not concentrating or in the right mood totally.

I will give it a 6/10 (hehe) with a “can do much better” stamp if I may!. Nice number though and was nice of you to present it.

Harhsan – The energy level and the open-throat singing style you brought to your rendition is just mind blowing. On top the mix is very clear and crisp. Rahul has become the mixing guru in this forum. Kickass combo!!!

Pointers – prononciations could be a little better and at some notes you were tad out of breath. But then this is a challenging song by itself with a lot of ups and downs. Masterpiece by Shankar Jaikishen and melodiously sung by Guru.

I feel better after listening to it. To my favs.

Harshan, a little late here on your post. As usual you rocked this cover, with the superb throw and expressions. How do you manage to sing KK songs without sounding like KK – even then it feels so close to the original. Superb yodelling also, looks like your voice quality is inversely proportional to your age :D Favourited!
