Thanks a lot Pradip. I sent her for carnatic training for a few months , she was not very interested at a very early age like when she was 8. She didnt like it so we discontinued but she likes western singing and have been coached in school now. Maybe when she grows up she will just appreciating more of our own. I am happy if she continues to sing and enjoy music …:)

Shampak bro ….Nitya is now 13, this was recorded when she was 10:-) She is learning western singing ….but doesnt show interest in Indian classical at the moment. Maybe when she grows up, she will start liking it. I dont like to force anything on the kids….I agree Indian classical is the way to go:-)

You have an immensely talented. As most members have commented I also strongly advocate the need for classical training. However I would suggest that she should get trained in Hindustani rather than carnatic music for helping her mould into a perfect singer. Her sense of shruthi and rythm are perfect indicating her innate talent. A full fiver for this song.

endhu parayaan…as adhithi stated pulikku pirandhathu punayakuma…u r really blessed to have a gem like this. please leave her to her own interests. as a mother of two grownup daughters, I know how hard it is to pacify them and make them bring our way.my daughter purnima-she is now 13 years old, very adamant when it comes to singing. she has to be in good mood, then again if I make any comment on her singing i.e. corrections, she will imm. stop singing and go away, sometimes will sing badly and say thats how i can sing, leave me" anywayz convey my best wishes to your sweet daughter.no doubt she will be a good singer in the future, 100/100 from me for this little star….
