Ankhon mein teri Lyrics & Chords
I was using Audacity. I tried to experiment with the laptop I had. I did not use any microphone. Just used the laptop’s microphone and started recording. Also, I could not download the karaoke, so I had to get play it on the laptop record it as a track and them record my music track. Just experimenting. Nevertheless, tried to song to my best abilities. Any ideas on doing better recording and comments on the singing shall be appreciated.

A commendable effort in terms of handling the song. As you mentioned, the recording could be way better.
The majority of the song was very good but the feel was missing, mainly due to a few flat notes here and there. But you have a nice voice which needs to be developed by relentless practice.

As you said the problems in recording were obvious. Singing was quite good, except for a few off pitch notes here and there. You have an excellent voice.
However, i would say If sung with little bit of modulations and expressions, you would sound great….

Harsha, pretty neat effort, I can’t say it is as good as your other numbers, Its a soft romantic song sung in a pleasant manner along with great feel. I couldn’t feel the emotions, may be you were conscious of your surroundings or is it the laptop mic you used. And you also added little bit of brighas in the charanams (Ayi aisi “RAATH”) which was not that good, but you got a very nice voice please use proper recording software and a good mic.
Recording Softwares : Audacity(free), Adobe Audition, Cubase etc….
If you need any help, leave a scrap.

Antara lot of misses and tunes also changed in the start….
Few places my ear reported missing the beat….
Need to read MUSIC MORE CAREFULLY before practicing and recording….when it comes to COVERs atleast(when we know what to expect)….This is my personal openion….

You should not cook a tasty meal and finally add a handful of salt which would defeat the purpose. Your good singing is offset by the pathetic recording and latency which would not offer us listeners to savor your voice. I strongly suggest you put some time to record well. I can easily imagine how sweet this song would sound in your voice in a good recording setup. Check this:

Good effort…Liked your voice but recording ruined all the beauty of this song ….Thought you were lagging behind the track at few places …Even the track wasn’t that great …The beats lacked punch ….Looking forward to a better version :-)
